DOBROBAT at Stanford: Rethinking Ukraine’s Scalable Recovery
At a recent event hosted by Stanford University, DOBROBAT presented its vision for Ukraine’s long-term recovery and the role of civil society in developing scalable reconstruction systems with international significance.
As Head of DOBROBAT (USA), Kateryna Shevchenko spoke about how Ukraine’s reconstruction requires not only humanitarian response, but also the creation of sustainable, transparent, and measurable recovery models that can serve broader national and international interests.

The discussion focused on transforming volunteer-driven initiatives into structured frameworks that combine international collaboration, professional expertise, infrastructure planning, and long-term strategic development.
Through partnerships between Ukraine and the United States, DOBROBAT works to connect civil society, academic institutions, and international professionals in order to support resilient reconstruction efforts and strengthen cross-border cooperation.
Participation in dialogues at institutions such as Stanford demonstrates growing international recognition of Ukraine’s recovery efforts and reinforces the importance of innovative, community-driven approaches to rebuilding infrastructure and supporting long-term stability.
