Scaling Recovery: DOBROBAT Trains in Advanced Virtual Design & Construction
As part of advanced VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) training, DOBROBAT representatives are developing practical expertise in integrated coordination systems, infrastructure planning, and scalable recovery approaches applicable to post-crisis reconstruction efforts.
A key component of the program involves applying VDC principles to real-world recovery and reconstruction challenges with a focus on improving operational efficiency, interdisciplinary coordination, and the long-term resilience of affected communities and infrastructure systems.

Particularly valuable was the opportunity to visit an active healthcare infrastructure project in the United States where advanced VDC systems and integrated coordination processes are actively implemented. Observing these approaches in practice provided deeper insight into modern decision-making systems, interdisciplinary project management, operational transparency, and long-term infrastructure management strategies.
The experience reinforced the importance of combining international technical expertise with field-based recovery experience to support the development of more efficient, transparent, and resilient reconstruction models.
Through initiatives such as these, DOBROBAT continues to strengthen knowledge exchange between the United States and Ukraine while contributing to internationally relevant approaches to infrastructure recovery, resilient community development, and sustainable post-crisis reconstruction.
