The best way to have a rest is to do a good deed. If you have once experienced the Dobrobat team spirit and have seen the joy and gratitude in the eyes of those you have supported, then it becomes almost a basic need for you to volunteer. Good deeds need to be multiplied, which is why our volunteers do good all the time, seven days a week, without days off and holidays.

During the last week of the previous year, Dobrobat volunteers had been working for five days to repair the destroyed roof of a house in Dymer, Kyiv Region. Teams of eight volunteers were working on the site. Twice the volunteers went to the village of Nalyvaikivka. They provided help to a family whose house had been ruined by enemy artillery. First, they dismantled the rubble, then dismantled the destroyed structures and then cleared the yard of debris.

Volunteers of Zaporizhzhia branch removed the damage caused by the shelling of Russian occupiers in Stepne village on the night of December 28-29. Particularly, they helped two women. One of them is the mother of a serviceman currently defending our country, the other is a mother of a 13-year-old boy. The team cleared the yard of construction debris caused by shelling, removed the damaged slate, glass and frames, also covered the windows with OSB panels and put tarpaulin over the roof.

Mykolaiv construction team went to the village of Prybuzke to help those who suffered. Five volunteers repaired the roof of a house. Kharkiv team sewed up the broken windows with OSB panels in a city kindergarten. Last week, they also completed installing the new windows to replace the broken ones in the Inclusive Resource Center in Borodyanka and in the school of Romny. These educational establishments are functioning now because volunteers have created comfortable conditions for children to study.

Last week in Sumy Region, along with the work on reconstruction, an event was held at which the Dobrobats were thanked for their help in rebuilding the region after the invasion of Russian occupiers. More than 30 volunteers were honored because their contribution to Sumy region reconstruction cannot be overestimated. They not only received gratitude and gifts, but also performed songs close to everyone's heart together with the project's media ambassadors, Kolaba band creating dance music.

We left behind the year difficult for every Ukrainian. The year ahead, although new, is no less challenging because we all have a lot of work to do. We are grateful to everyone who has become part of Dobrobat and faithfully rebuilds the country. We continue to work for Victory and invite those willing to join our volunteer ranks!

Together we can do more!
