“DOBROBAT” AND CULTURAL HERITAGE: WE WILL REBUILD EVERY SANCTUARY
Published: 20.06.26
From the Nazi Invasion to Russian Shelling: The Fight for Our Heritage Continues.
Kyiv Pechersk Lavra has survived wars, occupations, and some of the darkest chapters in our history. It is not only a spiritual symbol of Ukraine but also part of the world’s cultural heritage.
Today, as russian aggression once again brings destruction to our land, the preservation and restoration of such sacred sites has become more important than ever. If the need arises, together with our international partners, we are ready to raise the issue of securing support for the restoration of sites that hold exceptional value for our history, culture, and national memory.
We will rebuild our shrines, just as we will rebuild our cities, hospitals, schools, and homes. But above all, our highest priority is to save human lives.
