Dobrobat holds the frontline of reconstruction: we share the results of the past week

In unity, mutual understanding, and trust, Dobrobat volunteers keep urgently rebuilding the country. Each trip to the site is a manifestation of crucial support for the affected Ukrainians. Every word of gratitude from those we help is a sign that we are on the right track.
We are purposefully doing our job and invite everyone to join the ranks of Dobrobat. Indeed, we are stronger when we are united.
Therefore, we would like to report. Last week, over 130 volunteers carried out urgent repairs in four country regions. In Demydiv, Kyiv region, we repaired the roof of a house where an older man and his son, who is now defending the country, live. A blast wave from an enemy hit and damaged the house’s roof, windows, and doors.
Now volunteers are repairing the roof of the house. In Korolivka village of Bucha district, volunteers cleaned up the mess on the territory of a completely destroyed house. Earlier, they started cleaning it from construction debris. Then, the volunteers visited the site for the second time to complete the cleanup. Besides, they went to Irpin twice. Here they cleared the ruins of the houses destroyed by enemy shelling.
Volunteers of Zaporizhzhya Dobrobat eliminated the aftermath of a Russian missile attack on residential buildings. First, they cleared the house of debris at the site of the hit. Then, they helped residents of neighboring homes damaged by the blast waves. In particular, the volunteers dismantled the shattered slate of the houses and covered the roofs with protective film.
In the Mykolaiv region, repairs at a local school were carried out. For example, it took four days for volunteers to install new windows in the school. In addition, volunteers started installing new doors.
They also went to Lymany village, where they restored the house roof where the married couple lived. They dismantled the old roof, partially restored the crate, and installed a new slate. The tops of houses in Kvitneve and Prybuzke villages were also repaired with a new roof covering. And the roofs of two homes in Ukrainka village were urgently repaired. The house of a local resident was damaged due to constant shelling by the Russian army.
Dobrobats came to the rescue and restored the roof. They also patched over 80 holes in the top of the married couple’s house, torn apart by shrapnel.
Volunteers of the Kherson team completed dismantling the rubble of a destroyed house in Posad Pokrovske village.
A day before, a team of volunteers started clearing the building of rubble and debris. This week the volunteers have finally cleaned up the site tidying up the area and sorting scrap metal and bricks.
