NO POWER OR WATER, BUT IN ACTION: HOW DOBROBAT SAVES SUMY UNDER KAB ATTACKS
Sumy is left without electricity and water, under constant shelling, yet Dobrobat volunteers continue to support the people and never stop responding to affected sites, no matter what.
For the past three weeks, the enemy has been striking the city almost daily, using artillery, KABs (guided aerial bombs), and kamikaze drones. The attacks target critical infrastructure, residential buildings, industrial facilities, and social sites. The residential sector is also hit hard—following KAB strikes, dozens of homes are left without roofs and windows.
Dobrobat volunteers are working non-stop. Currently, the team carries out 4–5 deployments per week, promptly arriving at strike locations. During this time, the volunteers have already repaired about a dozen roofs, boarded up a large number of shattered windows, and continue to help people protect their homes from rain and harsh weather.
Last week, volunteers also worked on the grounds of an equestrian sports school and at one of Sumy’s top manufacturing plants, which had been forced to relocate due to the war but was still damaged in a hostile attack.
The work never stops. Despite the constant danger, Dobrobat volunteers help people every day to overcome the aftermath of Russian shelling and rebuild what the enemy tries to destroy.
