Members of the Polish Sejm have joined the international coalition in support of the Dobrobat volunteer movement, according to Ukrainian Member of Parliament Volodymyr Kreidenko.
According to Kreidenko, the Ukrainian delegation is working to establish an International Parliamentary Coalition in Support of Dobrobat during the European Congress of Local Governments, currently taking place in Poland and bringing together around 3,000 participants from across Europe. Two Polish parliamentarians have already joined the initiative.
The future coalition aims to develop support programs for the volunteer movement, strengthen cooperation through national and regional mechanisms, and enhance partnerships between sister cities.
Kreidenko emphasized that since 2022, more than 2,000 infrastructure facilities across Ukraine have been restored with the support of Dobrobat. In addition, nearly 500 families have been able to return to their rebuilt homes, while more than 50,000 volunteers throughout the country have contributed to the recovery of communities affected by Russian attacks.
